I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
